Choose a Logo Method That Fits the Material
A suitable branding method depends on the keychain material, artwork detail, required appearance, order quantity and budget. A logo process that works well on metal may not produce the same result on soft PVC, acrylic or leather.
Arvexin Keychain supports engraving, laser marking, printing, embossing and molded logos where appropriate. Before recommending a method, we review the artwork, product dimensions, available branding area, color requirements and whether the logo is required on one or both sides.
Material and product size should be confirmed before the final logo layout is prepared. Buyers can review related options on our Material & Size Customization page.
Engraving and Laser Marking on Metal
Engraving creates a recessed logo or text directly on the metal surface. It is suitable for names, simple graphics, serial information and branding that should remain visible without printed ink.
Laser marking is commonly used for fine text, line artwork and clean monochrome branding. The final contrast depends on the base metal and surface finish. Highly reflective, matte, plated and dark finishes may each produce a different result.
Artwork for engraving or laser marking should use clear vector lines. Very thin details, small text and tightly spaced elements may need adjustment to remain legible after production.
Printed, Molded and Embossed Logos
Printing is suitable for multicolor artwork, detailed graphics and designs requiring a specific visual effect. Acrylic keychains commonly use printed artwork, while suitable metal, PVC and leather products may also support printing depending on the surface.
Soft PVC and rubber keychains can integrate the logo directly into a 2D or 3D mold. Raised and recessed areas help create clear separation between details, but extremely fine lines may not reproduce accurately.
Leather and PU leather keychains can use embossing, debossing, printing or foil stamping where suitable. The leather grain, logo depth and available area influence the final clarity.
Confirm Logo Size and Position
Logo size should be reviewed according to the usable product area rather than the overall keychain dimensions. Holes, edges, stitching, molded borders and attachments can reduce the available branding space.
For accurate confirmation, artwork should show:
- Logo width and height
- Position from the product edge
- Front, back or double-sided application
- Logo color or plating requirement
- Raised, recessed or flat construction
- Required orientation after assembly
If the key ring or connector affects the logo direction, the attachment position should be confirmed before sampling. Suitable component choices are explained on our Key Rings & Accessories page.
Approve Branding Through a Physical Sample
Custom samples normally require around 7–15 days, depending on the material, tooling and design complexity. A physical sample allows the buyer to check logo size, position, color, depth, clarity and orientation before bulk production.
The sample should be reviewed together with the approved artwork and product specification. Buyers should pay particular attention to small text, fine lines, print alignment, engraving depth, molded edges and front-to-back positioning.
Once approved, the sample and confirmed artwork become the reference for mass production. Changes after approval may require new artwork, tooling or sampling and can affect the delivery schedule.
Logo Inspection During Bulk Production
Logo inspection focuses on more than whether the branding is present. We check position, orientation, dimensions, color, clarity and surface condition against the confirmed sample and specification.
Printed logos are checked for alignment, missing ink and unclear edges. Engraved and laser-marked logos are checked for readability and consistent placement. Molded and embossed logos are reviewed for complete formation, clean outlines and suitable depth.
More information about these production methods is available on our Engraving, Printing & Logo Processing page.
Information Required for a Branding Quote
Please provide vector artwork where possible, the preferred keychain material, product dimensions, logo size, logo color, branding method, required quantity and packaging needs. If the branding method has not been selected, send the artwork and intended appearance so we can evaluate suitable options, sampling requirements, MOQ and production lead time.
