Select Attachments for the Product Structure
The key ring and connector are functional parts of a keychain, not only decorative accessories. Their size, material, finish and assembly method affect how the finished product looks, hangs and performs during use.
Arvexin Keychain supports split rings, chains, jump rings, swivel clasps, lobster clasps, hooks and other suitable attachments for metal, soft PVC, rubber, acrylic and leather keychains. The final selection depends on the keychain body, product weight, attachment position, intended use and target appearance.

Split Rings and Chain Connections
Split rings are widely used for promotional, wholesale and branded keychain orders. Common options include different ring diameters, wire thicknesses and metal finishes.
A larger ring may be easier to use but can look disproportionate on a small keychain. A thin ring may reduce cost and weight but may not be suitable for a heavier metal body. The ring should therefore be matched to the size and construction of the main product.
Short chains can create additional movement between the key ring and keychain body. Chain length, link shape and connector size must be confirmed because they affect the overall product length and hanging direction.
Clasps, Hooks and Functional Accessories
Swivel clasps, lobster clasps and hooks are suitable for projects that require attachment to bags, zippers, lanyards or other products. These options may be used for promotional merchandise, branded accessories and special OEM programs.
Functional accessories can also include rotating connectors, straps, leather loops and product-specific hardware. Each component must be checked for compatibility with the keychain body and the required assembly method.
For LED keychains, accessory selection must also consider the battery compartment, switch position and product function. Decorative hardware should not block functional parts or make the product difficult to operate.
Match Hardware Color and Surface Finish
Accessory finishes should coordinate with the keychain body and branding direction. Common options include silver tone, gold tone, black, antique finishes and other suitable metal effects.
The same finish name may look slightly different across key rings, chains, clasps and the main metal body because the components may use different base materials and plating processes. If close color matching is important, the assembled sample should be reviewed rather than approving each component separately.

Confirm Attachments Through Sampling
A physical sample helps confirm ring size, chain length, hardware color, attachment position and overall balance before bulk production. Custom samples normally require around 7–15 days, depending on the material, tooling and design complexity.
During sample review, buyers should check whether:
- The ring size matches the product body
- The chain length is suitable
- Connectors close correctly
- The keychain hangs in the intended direction
- The attachment hole is positioned correctly
- Hardware finishes coordinate with the product
- Moving or rotating components operate properly
The approved sample and written accessory specification are then used as the production reference.
Assembly and Bulk Inspection
During assembly, key rings, chains and connectors are fitted after the main keychain components have been produced and finished. Inspection focuses on missing parts, incorrect accessories, loose connectors, open jump rings, poor alignment and visible surface damage.
For designs with clasps or rotating parts, the function should be checked during production and final inspection. Finished products are also compared with the approved sample before packing.
